I have had many years' experience in the UK and France cat sitting, house sitting and gardening.

I originally began this lifestyle after I sold my flat in London to travel in South America, after which I spent two years in Costa Rica teaching English as a foreign language. On returning to London without a plan, I was asked by a friend to housesit while she and her husband worked abroad for a year so that gave me some breathing space, during which time I began volunteering and then working freelance for a charity, teaching English to asylum seekers. From then on, and with the many contacts I had in London from my years in the City, I fell into regular cat sitting which I loved doing, in conjunction with freelance work around London and even one contract in India for four months. Once I retired I continued with cat and house sitting, by this time largely with regular clients, some of whom are now close personal friends, and their pets. At times clients even arranged their holidays around when I was available to look after their pets. (References can be obtained from there if requested.) Covid, however, stopped this lifestyle overnight so I have returned to NZ where I was born, hoping to establish myself here in the same way (but with better weather.)

After a sitting you will find your house as immaculate as you left it and I'm happy to look after your garden also. Most importantly, your pets will be as thoroughly spoilt as if they were my own.

My only restriction is that, as a non-driver, I need easy access to public transport, supermarket etc.
