CoupleHello! We are looking for opportunities to spend time with dogs. We do not have pets.
When we moved to New Zealand from Canada in 2016, we found a new home for our older terrier-poodle, Sammy T-Bone. He was a big part of our family for 10 years and it was not an easy decision. We understand what it's like to find someone to care for your dog while you are away. We will treat your dog with love.
Martin grew up on a dairy farm in Germany and brings a wealth of practical experience when looking after your animals and your house. For two Christmases we house-sat for an indoor cat in Canada, but with Martin's allergies, we prefer places without cats.
We have enjoyed looking after various sizes of dogs, alpacas, goats, chickens, and cows in New Zealand.
Both of us may be available to house-sit during the year in the Wellington region. During holidays, we may look to house-sit elsewhere in New Zealand.
We are non-smokers who love the outdoors and will keep your home clean.

Tracey and Martin did a fantastic job of looking after Buster. We had regular updates and he was so relaxed on our return we knew he had been well cared for. They left our house clean and tidy and were great at communicating. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and would happily have them back again.

The housesit could not go through due to causes out of their control, they were awesome with communications and let us know early allowing us to work out other arrangements. Would reccomend!
Martin and Tracy were great, a lovely couple. They looked after my dog perfectly, took him on lots of outings and kept every thing in order. My dog loved them. Tracy kept in contact with me and all went smoothly. Fabulous house sitters!
It was great to meet Tracy & Martin and have them look after our animals, house and garden. They were reliable and informative and left the house clean and tidy and the animals safe and sound. The dog was well cared for, taken for regular walks and outings, and the cows and goats were attended to as needed. Was a pleasure dealing with them and we'd welcome them back again.
Tracy & Martin were fab! They arrived on time, we're patient while I explained my pup's routines and habits, were great at communicating to set up the sit, and left my house as if they were never here. My Rogey was clearly at ease and instantly loved them!
I'd definitely rely on Tracy and Martin to housesit any time!! Highly recommended!!
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
