  • I live on a lifestyle block with 3 sheep, 3 alpaca and 1 Siberian husky. I have looked after horses most of my life and have looked after german shepherds, 40 alpaca, goats, sheep, donkies, horses, cats and dogs. Happy to sit locally on other farms or further North. Peace and quiet without people coming and going, as I take time away from my job to sit offseason is important. I learned how to ride a quad bike at my last farm sit. I have renovated property and am self employed.

Hi, my name is Dom. I live on a beautiful lifestyle block in Wellington that I designed and renovated. I have 3 alpaca, 3 sheep, 1 husky. I have looked after horses since I was little. I love animals, not particularly keen on birds but have recently healed my bird phobia. I am a bit of an animal whisperer.

I am tidy, responsible, easy going, logical and respectful.

I have been sitting for several years up and down the country and have had some interesting experiences! I house sit as a way to see NZ when I'm not working seasonally, and to get some alone time away from humans, so a peaceful environment away from the rat race is ideal.

For a few reasons, I now work as a paid house sitter/animals sitter. I just ask the owners to help cover petrol costs for outside Wellington sits + a day rate to cover being away from my animals, and for babysitting your fur children.

We were so lucky to find Dom at the last minute. She is an absolute Angel. Tia was soooooo happy with Dom. The neighbours always keep an eye on her (Tia that is, not the sitter) and reported that Dom had a lovely manner when dealing with her. Dom sent us regular photos and it was clear that Tia was very happy. Dom even has me using reiki music to calm Tia when she gets over excited now. The House was left in excellent condition . We would have Dom back in a heartbeat

Dom is a wonderful lady who looked after our home and pets really well. Was an awesome surprise to have soup and a pastry dish made for our return. Just what we needed after 7 hours of travelling. Would highly recommend Dom to others and would welcome her back.
