Happy you!
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
I grew up in a farm, my nanny was a farmer so I helped with feeding the cows, pigs, get the cows ready for milking, clean, driving trucks, fencing, bottle feeding, I even helped to give birth to some calf. I used to ride horses also. More recently I helped in a sheep farm in winter in Iceland and I am currently in a sheep farm in Banks Peninsula where I help shifting from different paddock and everything that goes with it.
30, WHV
Hi everyone,
My name is Manar, I am 30 years old. I am in NZ with a WHV until December. I deeply love animals and I used to take care of dogs and cats. Back home I took care of several dogs and cats at my own place. I grew up with 2 belgian sheperd and a dobermann. My parents have currently a belgian sheperd called Sid and I often take care of him.
I am flying to Canada mid August to take care of a dog for 5 weeks while their owners are on holiday. I've been there for a month 2 years ago and they've asked me if I would be interested in coming back this year as we kept in touch since then.
I went to Iceland in a sheep farm last year and I am currently also in a sheep farm on Banks Peninsula.
So to conclude I am used to take care of people's animals while they are away, trust is very important to me as the well-being of the animals is my priority.
I will gladly answer to all questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
