Kia ora I'm Tom!

I’m currently based in Auckland and it will be likely I can only house sit in the city or nearby suburbs unless schedules permit. With enough months notice I could potentially sit in other North Island cities or the South Island.

I'd be delighted to look after your home as if it was my own and take care of your pets so they are safe and sound when you return.


I work from home so during the day I’d be at home for your pets company and supervision, that’s depending on the length of the sit and how much company your pets need.

I have experience both as a home owner and pet dad.

Growing up I had horses, and as an adult have had small animals from guinea pigs, to house rabbits to small dogs and cats, even tropical fish. I know what's normal behaviour and what needs attention.

As a teenager my first school holiday work was on a small farm in charge of the bobby calves.

And in recent years have looked after a house cow even hand milked.

I don't smoke and have lived in different ways in large suburban houses to more sustainable settings with solar power.
