We are kiwi citizens originally from America and and have lived in the Wellington region since 2015. We love to explore the beauty of all that New Zealand has to offer. We find that pet/house sitting is a great way to do that! We are clean and tidy. We are responsible and respectful of people's homes and pets. We enjoy animals and are very mindful of house/pet instructions we are given. We are happy to Zoom, Whatsapp, text, phone or email owners while they are away to give assurances their beloved pets and home are well cared for. We have been blessed with 2 wonderful children, a 21-year old daughter and 18-year old son. They are great with animals.
We have been pet/house sitting ever since we moved to NZ in 2015.
Our experience includes:
-December 2021 caring for 2 lovely little dogs in Whitby PORIRUA (different family than previous year) for 2 weeks.
-December 2020 minding a dog and cat in Whitby, PORIRUA
-December 2019 - caring for an upbeat dog and two timid cats in PAPAMOA BEACH,
-July 2019 - a friendly dog requiring frequent long walks and a special diet in Remuera, AUCKLAND for 9 days.
-Dec 2017/Jan 2018 caring for an active puppy and friendly dog in Taradale, NAPIER for two weeks.
- Dec 2016/Jan 2017 we house sat 5 pets (3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 requiring daily medication), and a garden in Pukehangi, ROTORUA for 2 weeks.
-Dec 2015/Jan 2016We cared for a lovely cat and lawn in
Te Atatu South, AUCKLAND.
-July of 2015 we did our longest housesit to date. We spent 6 weeks caring for two young cats for a wonderful couple in Whitby, PORIRUA when we first arrived in NZ.

Maggie and Mike were very very considerate and caring people. I would be happy to have them back at any time. They were very flexible and agreed to extend the sit when requested. We would be very happy to recommend them to other Home owners.
Mike, Maggie and their children housesat for us while we were away at Christmas, New year's. They were wonderful and loving to our animals, in fact we think she preffered them to stay! The house was kept lovely and tidy and clean, communication was impeccable even down to little notes for us. We are so greatful they were able to stay and look after our home and pets. 10/10 thank you!!
Maggie and family were amazing. Treated our Staffordshire bull terrier like their baby. Great communication and left house clean and tidy. Don't hesitate if you're considering this wonderful family.
Maggie and Mike were wonderful housesitters. They stayed at our place for two weeks and looked after our two dogs and property really well. One of the dogs is a 8 month old puppy who can be very high maintenance but he was happy and relaxed when we got home. He must of been well looked after!!
The house was cleaned and extremely tidy and everything looked great. They even replaced some things that had broken which I thought was above and beyond their responsibilities.

We found Maggie, Mike and family great to deal with over our time away. They kept us informed during our trip. We came home to a clean house, washing done and happy animals. We would recommend them for housesitting in the future.
Maggie, Mike and their two childen stayed at our home while we were on holiday for two weeks and they looked after our cat and gardens. We had new lawn that had to be watered regularly and we were delighted with how they looked after everything. We would have no hesitation in recommending this family. They were very respectful of our things and the house was immaculate when we returned.
Mike and Maggie together with their two children took care of our house and cats while we embarked on an overseas trip for six weeks during July 2015.
The whole experience was a delight. Their communication before and during the housesit was exceptional and we gave us complete faith they would take good care of our home and our pets.
That faith proved to be more than justified and we have since become very good friends.
