Hello All
Let me introduce myself
I have been called Minnie since a child. Over the years its changed to Min or Mina or Minnow. It is the name I feel comfortable with. Although it is not my birth name ( see attached Drivers License)
I have been house/ pet- sitting for the past 10 years, in NZ and in Australia.
Currently I live on an island off Brisbane but I travel to NZ frequently.
I am English born and have lived in Australia for far too long!
I now wish to spend more time in NZ where I have friends and I like the weather. It’s a kinder climate than Queensland, which is too hot.
I am an independent and responsible person tidy and a good gardener
I am capable and honest and would look after your house, garden, pets /farm animals to the very best of my ability.
I enjoy walking, swimming gardening ,traveling. and being on our local quiz team .
I have kept chooks for many years and I inherited my ex- husband’s dog Nina ,a German Shepard, for some years till she died of old age,
I have farm- sat too, in Queensland 2 years in a row where I had a total menagerie of animals and fowl to feed and check on daily.

There were chooks ducks guinea- fowl ,horses ponies alpacas goats sheep and cattle on the hill and a farm dog Maggie
I like doing house sits, as for me its a way to have a holiday and to experience new places .While at the same time I am enabling a family or householders to enjoy time away for their holiday or to visit family and friends. So it works both ways.
I am a non smoker and hold a Queensland driving license.
I intend to buy a car when in NZ as I want to travel and do house sits in various places

Mina
Mina came to stay on our farm for a few days to babysit all the animals especially our dog Maggie. She was wonderful with everything and did the rounds every day to count the animals. Maggie loved her and even went over to her lodge after we got back to sit with her rather than us! Would definitely recommend Mina and her friend Kim and we will definitely be asking her to sit for us again - thank you Mina and Kim xxxx
Mina looked after my home over Christmas 2019. The house looked great, all my plants survived the summer head, and the cat was thriving on my return. Swapping over keys was seamless - all of which was more difficult than it sounds being located on an island. Mina handled it all so well. Thanks so much and Happy New Year.
We all felt very comfortable to have Mina look after our home and our dog Gracie. Our home was left as it was when we left it. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mina for any house and pet sit.
Mina house sat for us for 3 weeks in September 2016. The sit went exactly as I hoped it would. When we arrived home it was like we'd just left the day before. Mina minded our small silky terrier cross and I think he had a better time with Mina than he does with us. Mina is a minimalist sitter, no fuss, no special requests, unassuming but with good attention to detail - just the way we like. I have no hesitation in endorsing Mina for you house sit.
Mina took care of our home and dog for 3 nights while we were away for the Easter break. We met Mina the week before we were to leave on holiday and were instantly reassured that we were leaving the house, and our dog in very good hands.
We would highly recommend Mina as a house sitter; she took excellent care of our home and even sent us photos of our dog at the end of the trip so we could see what he had been up to.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
