Kia ora!
Thank you for taking your time to get to know us a little better.
We are Merlin and Alice and we are a German/Kiwi couple.
We are both currently taking a gap year before starting university, which means we have lots of time to look after your pets everywhere in NZ. At the moment we are located in Auckland, but we will happily drive further distances for a house sit somewhere else.
Let’s get to our experience with animals.
We both have lovely dogs, which we love taking for long walks. Both of us also have a cat and enjoy cuddle time. Merlin has also held many reptiles, such as bearded dragons, as well as loads of different types of fish. About a few years ago we really got into birds and ended up raising hundreds of quails, chickens, finches and ducks. Looking after all different types of animals definitely taught us a lot and we are grateful for it.
We always enjoyed taking care of our friends’ pets during their holidays and had a great experience.
We understand that it is a big thing to leave your beloved pets with new people during your holiday, but we can assure you that we will give our best to make you and your pets feel as comfortable and secure as possible. It is guaranteed that we will send you pictures and messages of your pets as often as you wish.

Merlin and Alice did a fabulous job of caring for Bruce cat, he was well looked after during the time. There was a good level of communication engagement. I warmly recommend them to take care of your fur babies.
