Our names are Allen and Lyn Larkan , 67 and 75 respectively.
Retired active couple,citizens of New Zealand ,immigrated to New Zealand in 2000, from South Africa ,lived in Auckland for 14 years before retiring to a lifestyle block in the Doubtless Bay area several years ago.We have a small flock of sheep and free range chickens .
We enjoy the outdoors camping and boating .We both play Lawn Bowls . We love traveling around New Zealand so are more than happy to house sit and look after your pets and anything else for you while you are away .
We are a responsible and respectful couple who are more than happy to look after your property and pets while you are away. We are also very friendly and trustworthy and your pets will enjoy our company just as much as we will enjoy theirs.

Allen & Lyn were great housesitters. They did a great job keeping Charlie our cat happy. Taking care of the chickens and keeping an eye on the steers and sheep. The vegetable garden and plants were all well looked after. Allen even mowed the lawn for us. Having the power out for a time didn't phase them. The house was immaculate on our return. Communication was excellent. We would love to have Allen & Lyn back and would recommend them to others.
Allen & Lyn were the perfect house sitters. Any extra jobs weren't a problem and they looked after our dog, cat and other animals probably even better than ourselves!!! We came home to an incredibly clean house, mown lawns and happy home. Would have them back in a heart beat.

Wow! What a lovely clean and tidy house and section to come home to.3 dogs a cat and a cockatiel very happy and obviously well looked after. Allen and lyn were amazing! Really did not worry at all about our house while we were away. Sooty our cat was still super happy and loveable when we came home and to be honest our house was CLEANER than when we left. Would recommend them to everyone. Thank you again guys!
Allen & Lyn were perfect for my animals, house & garden. They left everything clean and tidy plus a litre of milk for my return.
I would highly recommend them and have them stay again.

Really great house sitters!
We had actually left before they replied to our last minute house advertisement so all arrangements done by phone. They managed to pick up the reins and do great job. House left really clean and tidy. Would be keen to have them back again
Allen & Lyn were excellent housesitters. They took a great care of our house and two cats for a week in December 2019. We came home to a tidy clean house and very happy cats. We found them to be good communicators and would highly recommend them. Thank you guys and all the best! B
Thank you to Allen, Lyn and their two lovely grandchildren, whom they had for the school holidays, for caring for our animals and home. Considering our two cats have very little contact with children, our cats were very relaxed with them, snuggling on knees and cuddling in bed at night. Although not required to, the family checked the stock when having walks on the farm, and reported back.
