Kim & Keith

We are an active retired couple who try to travel for part of each year. We enjoy travelling in the 'slow lane', preferring to see fewer places more thoroughly. We are not full-time sitters. We've done five house-sits, three house-swaps and had house-sitters in our own home while we're away - sitters have all been found through kiwihousesitters.co.nz

We love animals and have always had a pet. We currently have a ten year old tortoiseshell cat called Pepper. We have looked after cats, dogs and sheep during our house-sits and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Keith grew up on a farmlet which had a cow, a horse, ,sheep, ducks and chickens.

We are both keen flower, fruit and vegetable gardeners and I pickle or bottle fruit and vegetables and make jams most years. We believe we are quite practical people. Keith, in particular, is very good at building and fixing 'things'. I plan and organise most of our holidays!

We keep fit by walking and have done a number of multi-day walks, both in New Zealand and overseas. I belong to a gym and a tramping group. Dog walking would therefore be a pleasure.

We are non-smokers.
