53,

A bit about me: non-smoker, non-recreational drug taker, but occasional joke maker (not always good lol) I am a teacher by trade. I was also a practicing artist and professional therapeutic masseuse. I spent the better part of 20 years in the childcare industry both as a nanny, live-in, live-out and overseas and in early childhood centres. I have also done personal care work - dealing with those with health restraints and aged care. Most of my 'work' over a lasting number of years worked around being a mum and following development and implementation of small personal businesses.

People find me to be out-going, trustworthy, conscientious, honest, reliable, responsible, caring, witty and an achiever in whatever I put my mind to.

So why house sitting?

I enjoy having a clean, quiet and comfortable space. Historically I've been fortunate enough to housesit where I can enjoy the beauty of nature, a body of water and fur babies (or a menagerie of wings and trotters as the case may be lol) which has been awesome.

I spent most of a year house sitting quite a number of years back but I figured a change of scene and the chance to do some extra snuggling might be in order so I thought I'd pop online again and check the scene.

I've had surgery last year which has kept me close to home for a number of months so a bit of time spent here or there would be a lovely start to 2025.

I have no external considerations at the moment so I can give my undivided attention to meeting and exceeding your needs.

Naturally that fits in quite nicely with the house sitting plan with someone benefiting from the skill set I possess and gives the peace of mind I know someone leaving their homes and most precious possessions, fur babies within their absence, hopes for.

I have a police check, endorsements (which are visible on the site) which reflect my commitment and passion for this kind of exchange so you can be leave home feeling those warm fuzzies that all will be well - or better than you could have expected.

nb I'm only available for short sits within the Waikato/BOP area at this time

No rating We were fortunate to have Katrina housesit our Cambridge lifestyle property for ten days over the Christmas Period of 2016-2017. Her care and attention of our home and animals was fabulous. We returned home to happy, healthy pets and our home sparkled. We were delighted. We have no hesitation in recommending Katrina to anyone wishing to have someone stay and care for their property and animals. She is a reliable, animal loving, genuine person and we hope she may be available for any future ... MORE

No rating Just wanted to say that we've arrived home to all our animals (3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 pig) all happy and well looked after. It was a big ask for 17 days and such a relief to find Katrina. Would definitely recommend her and use again in the future. :-)
