I'm a mature education professional who would love to take care of your home and pets while you are away. I'm an experienced house sitter and flatmate, and also own my own home (currently rented out while I am studying). I appreciate peace and quiet although if you have a piano and are happy for me use it, I will give it some love! I keep a clean and tidy home and am able to clean through your home before you return (unless you request me not to of course).

I have experience looking after dogs and cats of all personalities, also guinea pigs, cold water fish tanks, and pet mice! I know how to be safe around horses and have some basic horse experience. I am comfortable moving cows between paddocks and also feeding chooks and collecting their eggs, and cleaning out the hen house if needed.

Gardening-wise, I am a keen vegetable gardener and able to do light weeding / pruning. I prefer not to mow due to grass allergies though.

I am looking for housesits in Hawke's Bay that are within a reasonable commute (30 mins) to Hastings. I can provide references from recent local house-sits on request. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
