We are a mature married couple, and dependable house sitters, looking for homes to sit, and animals to care for. We both love animals, and have grown up with pets, cats and dogs. We have a diverse experience in caring for both animals and homes.

Dion is a Kiwi born and raised, beekeeper. He is a goodwilled, funny, gentle spirited and hardworking man.

Linda is a Danish girl with a bachelor in social-education; she is organized, warmhearted, gentle, smiles easily and loves children.

Dion grew up on a hobby farm in one of New Zealand farm areas. Through his childhood and youth, He helped his parents out around the farm, tending to the sheep and goats, building fences and doing renovation work. In his later years, He has been entrusted with both house and property maintenance, and has multiple references for this. He is experienced in contract building, as well as painting and joinery.

Linda grew up in Denmark, as a child she had an early love for animals and caring for them, even finding wounded animals trying to nurture them back to health. This love has also lead her to do volunteer work in Africa with orphaned or wounded wildlife. In her later years she has been housesitting in Denmark taking care of two mischievous but cute cats. Other than that, she has been working as a house sitter and childcare worker in a private home for a period of 2 years, caring for 3 children whom tragically lost their mum.

We both have a high respect for being in your private home, and will treat it with utmost honor. We are family oriented people, quiet and down to earth. We love to adventure and explore while learning new things. Together we enjoy camping, tramping and being in nature. We are looking to build our own home here in New Zealand one day, but for now, we are keen to and exited about housesitting, while we are saving for our own future home, that others might sit.

Dion and Linda were amazing house sitters. They are such a lovely couple and we knew our home and cat would be in safe hands. For 5 weeks they took such good care of our cheeky cat, our big old house and our huge garden. They managed all that through 3 major weather events. A severe storm , a cyclone, a huge downpour and a 5 day long power cut. They seemed unfazed by such adverses conditions. Dion & Linda were just lovely. We felt very comfortable leaving our home and two dogs in their capable care for 8 weeks,. Great communication before and during our trip overseas. Our dogs and house were well looked after and the house was immaculate when we came home .We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for house sitters and we would not hesitate to engage them again

We recently had the pleasure of having Linda and Dion house-sit for us, taking care of our dog, seven chickens, house, and garden for a month. As this was our first experience using a house sitter, we were a bit apprehensive, but Linda and Dion completely exceeded our expectations. Dion and Linda were fantastic house sitters! Due to un foreseen circumstances we were un able to meet Dion and Linda in person prior to our trip, though we left our home feeling extremely comfortable after having great communication with them, they were both friendly and easy to talk to. Throughout our trip we received updates about the animals which was much appreciated. We had a minor issue within our home that Dion and Linda sorted for us with ease. Dion and Linda house sat for us for 6 weeks ending 19 April 2024. We have a newly renovated 3 bedroom house, extensive lawns and 2 hyperactive French bulldogs. This was our first time leaving our house and pets to house sitters and we were slightly apprehensive. On our return we found a spotless house, well cared for gardens and two very clean, happy and healthy frenchies. We were very happy with the way that Dion and Linda cared for our property while we were away. Communication was kept where necessary. The grounds, which are quite extensive, were nicely mowed and cared for. An issue that arose with the pool was kindly addressed. Our cat loved them and wanted to go home with them. Dion and Linda were amazing. We felt very comfortable leaving our home and pets in their care, while we were away for 9 weeks. The communication they gave us was excellent as our dog had an ear infection and Linda was very concerned about him, and on our request took him to the vet's and medicated him as needed, which fixed the problem. Linda and Dion communicated very well, were very professional with pre travel arrangements and several visits to meet the animals and to get the lay of the property. We had no concerns whatsoever that they would care for our animals and property with the utmost diligence. On our return the house was immaculately clean and tidy, the animals were happy and well cared for, lawns mowed, and grounds tidied. We can highly recommend them as excellent house sitters who are honest, reliable and caring.
