Hi, my name is Franzisca and I'm currently travelling various places far away from my home in Germany. At some point in the not-too-distant past I used to be a Physics major at a relatively renowned institute in Israel. But it didn't fulfil as much as it should, so I decided to quit and do the complete opposite. So, it came that during the last year I visited several European countries and volunteered there in different families and projects. I love to travel slowly, stay in a place for a few weeks, discover its peculiarities and their people by living and working between them. Apart from that I enjoy outdoor activities, hiking, running and watersports, and when I'm tired from all that I get in some me-time with a good movie, a book and maybe a pet?
Maybe the most important thing I learned on my travels so far, is that I love animals, all kinds of them. In Ireland I actually stayed at a piggy sanctuary for three months, which was awesome. Afterwards, every place I went had some kind of pet (mostly dogs and cats though) around and I enjoyed so much taking care of them that I decided to try myself with pet-sitting. It sounds like the perfect combination, new city and new furry friend. I love to walk around to find the most magical corners of a place I haven't seen before, and it would be so much better with a dog at my side. Or, to know that there is a kitty back home who I can cuddle while resting my feet.
I like to respect the animals I'm taking care of, their wishes for attention but also for space. I'm very perceptive and easily notice unusual behaviour, and of course I will follow all your instructions to the word.
