I'm a mature. friendly, easy going retiree. Before retiring 3 years ago I was employed in the not for profit sector working with refugees and migrants. I live in Lyttelton.

Although I have had a number of house sitters to look after my pets, through Kiwi House Sitters, I am new to sitting for other people. I'm a vegetarian animal lover, who has always had cats as pets and have looked after friends' dogs, guinea pigs and chickens on occasions. I have also been the proud owner of 4 sheep. I can give your pets companionship and keep them happy and unstressed in their regular routines; well cared for while you are away.

As a house owner, I am very aware of the trust that house owners place in their house sitters I will look after your house and pets with every care and attention. I would describe myself as practical, resourceful, and security conscious. I am a nonsmoker and a calm and self-contained person, quiet living, kind, conscientious, capable, resourceful and well organised, clean and house-proud.

In my free time I'm an avid reader, stay fit and am a keen amateur photographer. I also volunteer for local community organiations.
