35, Operations and Impact Manager

Kia ora!

I'm Amy and I love to be outside on walks or spending time at the beach. Other activities that occupy my time are yoga and dance. I currently have two jobs: I'm the Operations and Impact manager for a social enterprise that delivers period equity and I also design learning content for professionals in the electricity industry.

I enjoy the company of animals, and giving them care and attention. Throughout my childhood I had pet cats, a dog and guinea pigs.

I have the flexibility to work remotely so while house-sitting I'm usually around the house 3-4 work days to spend time with animals.

I'm responsible and reliable. I like to take care of my space and keep it tidy, and I treat other's space with the same respect.

I love plants and am happy taking care of indoor or outdoor leafy friends.

Amy stayed for us while we were on holiday in Japan and did a great job of looking after the cats (x3) and the house. It was nice knowing the house was safe and the pets had company while we were away. Amy was easy to contact and always responsive to messages. We came home to a clean house and happy cats! I would recommend Amy to other people looking for a sitter. Thanks again for your help :)

Amy was great. She is considerate, communicative & respectful. On return, the house was tidy & clean. The handover catchup was lovely. She looked after my two cats, Sam and Hector, beautifully. They were healthy & relaxed when I returned. You can really rely on Amy if anything happens to your pets too! Sam had two visits to the vet (abscess & he put his tooth through his top lip) & Hector (a home body) went missing for 4 days! Very worrying but Amy was amazing e.g. calling vets & the SPCA, ... Amy is a really easy housesitter - great communicator, reliable and the house and cats were great once we got home. One of our cats was being particularly difficult by deciding to stay outside a lot but he needs medication daily, thankfully Amy was able to manage this well and the cat seems fine healthwise upon our return.
