Alicia & Shaun

Hi everyone!

My name is Alicia, I live in Foxton with my 17 year old son, his father Shaun and my mother Sharon. I have built up a strong relationship with families across Aotearoa looking after their beloved pets, Home Estates and Luxury Homes. I understand how important it is to take care of your animals while also ensuring the security and upkeep of your home.


We have two adorable cats, Poppy & Storm. We also have a dog named Valley who keeps us very busy. Our family are lucky enough to live five minutes from Foxton beach, we enjoy living in a small community & appreciate how peaceful it is.

I love arts n crafts and photography. Shaun likes surfcasting and has a keen interest in tropical fish. My son Blaze is 17 years old, he’s currently studying IT and working his way up to a diploma in Cybersecurity. My mother Sharon whom lives with us has the Green finger in the family, loves gardening and her DIY projects. She takes care of our son and pets while we help other families around New Zealand.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

What experience do you have with house sitting for others? I've always lent a hand, helped friends and family with pet & house sitting. I think it's really important to help others especially when they have pets, they too are a huge part of our families. I find a lot of family pets prefer to stay in their home environment rather than stay in a boarding kennel.

What experience do you have with looking after animals? I've learnt a lot about dogs, especially when it comes to their diets, skin conditions, exercise requirements and grooming. You also need to be patient with them, they pick up very easily on negative energy. I'm observant and can spot very quickly if something is wrong. Our family has always welcomed animals into our home.

Who will accompany you when you house sit? This will all depend on the dates, duration and most importantly the house owners preferences. Most of the time it will be me on my own, every now and then my sons father Shaun would come along if he has time off work especially over Christmas.

Do you have references and a police vet document available? I have references available on request. I also have an official criminal record check document obtained from the Ministry Of Justice.

Why should we pick you to look after our home & pets? If you want someone who will go above & beyond for your pets and give 500 percent into looking after them, I can whole heartedly say I'm that person! I genuinely love spending time with all animals. Not only that but I will also take great care of your home. I understand It takes a lot of trust to have someone look after your family pets and home. I recognise that and hope to be able to build that relationship with you.

Do you have a reliable vehicle to travel around in and take our dogs in if need be? I have a Suzuki Vitara SUV 2021, I have plenty of room in my vehicle. I'm definitely an experienced dog chauffeur!
