Hi there,I am of Croatian/French/Irish ancestry My croatian family are dairy farmers in the far north of NZ who came to NZ in the 1890's. I joined kiwihousesitters to experience living in small towns outside of Akld where I normally reside. I absolutely love animals & they love me. I have a calm,caring,confident,empathic nature. I have looked after dogs,newborn baby lambs, calves, chooks, horses, bunnies, parrots,lizards(in cages & rescue kittens & cats. I am a healthy,mature-50's single,non smoking,Professional women. I have worked as a professional cleaner & in property management so am extremly clean & tidy. I take pride in caring for people's homes & pets.I am trustworthy, reliable, meticulous & come with excellent character refs. I am flexible & like to keep clear communication around what is expected.I love plants, gardens & exploring our beautiful country.I look forward to meeting you. I am healthy & have maintained excellent health during covid times,continuing being tested. I stopped housesitting for 1 year during lockdowns & lived on Waiheke 2021-22.Regards Karina

Karina's care of our house and hound went smoothly and was much appreciated. Happily our family got to spend time with her before and after the actual sit. She's very companionable and shone much warmth on our home. She was generous in sharing some lovely food and even gifts for our children. Karin was a delight to have look after my two fur babies. She immediately bonded with the girls, stayed in regular touch & sent through pics during her stay. The house was immaculately clean & tidy when I returned with linen cleaned that you couldn’t even tell she was here!

Karina clearly loves animals and put a lot of effort into befriending, playing with, and caring for my 2 cats who were obviously happy to have her in the house. I found her mature and reliable, communication was excellent, and she was respectful of my home and privacy. We spent some time together when I returned, and bonus - she was also great company. Highly recommended.

It was so lovely having Karina-nicole look after my home. I came back to a tidy house and washed sheets. My house and animals were well looked after. She even managed to round up my 2 wayward cows. Highly recommended.
