Phil and I have both recently retired..sold our lovely home in Whangamata...where we have happily lived for 30 years...We have now purchased a section and plan to build in approx. mid 2020? hopefully we will be in for Christmas 2020?
We are now touring around NZ...car...bikes...golf clubs and each other...PURRRFECT!! We just love this country and are in a position to watch over your home and treasured pets...We can consider any location.....
Phil and I have recently housesat in Whangamata for 5 months looking after their precious little dog...we were asked to return this year but unfortunately their dog has passed away...this leaves us with a rather large gap in the year....We absolutely love animals , and they absolutely love us back...eg...while writing this we are in arrowtown motorcamp...and who is sleeping on our bed already...YIP...the camp ground pet CAT...
Phils background is in sales while I have been a massage therapist..together we have been running a gourmet gift box business and in the last 10 years also been working at the local Golf Club Pro Shop....we both love cycling..walking..swimming..golf..family and friends...AND FOOD..and if you are lucky there may just be a yummy cake waiting your return...really hope to hear from you !!
Sunshine and Happiness from Clare and Phil....since writing this we have completed a 3 month cat since in Katikati...a 5 week dog sit in Feilding and tomorrow start another 5 week dog/cat/fish sit in Havelock north...LOVING IT ALL but always sad to say goodbye to cool little mates we have got to know. Now 2021.covid gone!!...still awaiting title on our section in Waihi Beach..but lucky us we have fantastic housesits we have done with all asking us to return.....we must be doing something right..we actually love doing this and enjoy being back with our animal kingdom..Since writing last we have done 2 sits in waihi..on a small lifestyle block..2 weeks. and 1 month..3 in Omokoroa ..1 month..5 months..1 month..where we are currently for the 3rd time..here until August...actually they have just contacted us from australia and would like us to stay until end of october in their beautiful home with rubee!!.love to hear from you all..Kind Regards Clare and Phil ...oh dear and so it goes on...now September 2022..title nearly due...we have 2 more sits in omokoroa....just finished 3 months in taupo and patiently waiting for???? Maybe you...cheers again..and still it goes on..now 2024 and we are about to move into our new home at waihi beach...the really good news is that at a later stage we will still do the odd housesit...watch this space!!.have a happy day...

There are not enough stars to rate Clare and Phil. They are the most superb house and pet sitters. Not only was our dog Flynn treated like royalty but the house and gardens were immaculate on our return. Fresh flowers round the house. Dinner AND dessert (gluten free) cooked. Frooze balls in the fridge! All their towels and linen washed and dried. Whilst we were away we were sent photos of the pooch having a fabulous time - they took him everywhere with them. Claire and Phil are lovely people and I was lucky to have them look after my house and dog. Dog thought she was in heaven with lots of walks and enjoying the comforts of home often forbidden!!! Great communicators with regular updates. I so appreciated the little touches of care when I got home... cake in the tin, flowers, lawns mowed. Thank you guys - lovely to meet you and I wish you well with your house build.

Phil and Clare are amazing house sitters. Our home was immaculate when we arrived home. I am sure it was cleaner than what is was when we left it. They are very caring and loving with our fur baby, Lucy. Lucy loves them to bits. You can tell that she misses them when they leave. Awesome house sitters awesome people, clean tidy and extremely efficient. Our wee girl Rubee ( dog) was loved, and spoiled by Clare & Phil. Our dog was well looked after and amused, and the chickens cared for. We received regular photos and videos of Dudley the Labrador on walks and swims, looking very happy. The house was left spotless, everything tidy, baking waiting for us and lovely vases of flowers from the garden. We have no hesitation in recommending Clare and Phil, who did this second, short housesit for us at short notice.

Clare and Phil cared for our house and pets for 2 weeks , we came home to relaxed and well exercised dogs, an immaculate house (with fresh baking!) cant recommend them highly enough. Will happily use their services again if we have a chance. Wonderful!

Clare and Phil are great house sitters. The house was immaculate on our return, with some delicious and beautifully presented baking left for us and flowers in the vases. The dog was clearly very happy with regular long walks and swims, and the chickens were fine. Communication was regular and prompt and included photos and a video of Dudley the dog having fun. We are happy to recommend and would be keen to use their services agai.

Clare & Phil are the most amazing couple who we would trust any time to both look after our house and our dog Gem. Gem was so well looked after. They regularly sent us photos to keep us updated which was really wonderful. Our house was beautifully looked after, our cook top has never looked cleaner! Due to the Corona Virus we drastically cut our holiday short arriving back home after only a month of the three month house sit, they did everything in their power to accommodate us even though it was a trying time for them as well. Simply lovely couple. On our return the house was hotel clean with fresh sheets on the bed and flowers from tge garden on the table. Tinks our cat looks very contented, pleased to have us back but clearly well looked after. Best bit was the amazing lemon cake baked with lemons from our tree, could rival any NZ cafe!

Clare and Phil were the perfect house sitters and we wish to recommend them to all those seeking a sitter in their home. They cared for our property and pets to the highest level, so much so that the animals almost ignored our return in anticipation Clare or Phil would be attending to their needs !!!. The house was spotless, lawns mown and a tasty dinner awaiting us on our return from overseas. They are highly recommended by us and we hope Clare and Phil can house sit for us again in the future.

Clare and Phil really are 5 star house sitters. They looked after my Jack Russell Ruby as if she was their own, she is missing them already! I was kept in touch via email with photos of Ruby enjoying her walks The house was immaculate on my return as well as lovely baking and a beautiful flower arrangement to welcome me home. I would have them both back to house sit in a heartbeat and recommend them with confidence. New friends made and they are always welcome.

Clare and Phil were the greatest house sitters anyone could wish for. The house and gardens were left immaculate and Clare had made a lovely cake to greet us when we arrived home. Our very special cat had been lovingly looked after including his daily brushing and cuddles at night. We certainly will not hesatate to use them in the future if they are available.
