Caitlin & Micah

Hi, we are a trust worthy, employed, married couple, originally from Auckland.
We love animals, the outdoors and are hard workers. We have lived on farms while caring for animals and other maintenance on the property.
We love spending time with animals, I often call my Husband Micah 'the animal whisperer'.. as he has an amazing connection to animals, they all seem to love him! Haha

We are both non-smokers, very quiet and clean people.
I love gardening, so if you have a veggie garden I will both be very excited and eager to maintain it for you.
We love surfing and exploring nature.

Micah has good experience in house washing, painting, window cleaning, roof and gutter cleaning etc so we know how to maintain a home and keep it looking beautiful.
We have experience with ride on lawn mowing, and all the usual machinery for maintaining big properties.

We have house sat a few times in the recent years, we are currently house sitting an off grid home until December 8th 2023. We have gained skills while here in solar systems and living an off grid life.
We are active and fit people so always keen to take a dog for a walk!
In previous houses we have looked after we have cared for a number of dogs - big and small, cats, sheep and chickens. Some of these had health conditions that required us to give them medicine daily and give some extra care and attention.

We are reliable and will always leave your house as good as you left it!

We have added a reference from a couple that we house sat for 6 months, they are not on house sitters;
Micah and Caitlin Johnson have looked after our house, garden and 2 cats for 5 months from June - December 2023 in Stanmore Bay.

In that time they have stayed in constant communication with us and have paid all the utility bills etc on time and regularly

They have sent us regular videos and pictures of the cats and have been fantastic with our elderly cats medication.

They have also cared for our many many houseplants and the garden successfully. They have kept the garden neat and tidy, keeping the lawn mowed and the gardens looking good in what was a very wet winter

They have had some issues with our solar powered electrical system but have been amazing at managing it despite trying weather!

They are really lovely people too, honest, friendly and reliable and we’d have no hesitation in having them back to help in the future.
