*Please note, after 11/08/24 Only Rhi is available (Owen will be in Ireland) for this reason, I will mainly be looking to care for cats and small animals to ensure I can provide adequate care.*
We are Owen and Rhiannon. We are an Irish/ kiwi couple who are both currently studying and working, and into our second year of full time house/pet sitting.
Owen is a qualified Social Care Worker from Ireland who currently is working for Auckland Council and pursuing a Masters of Psychotherapy. Owen has an interest in sport having played Gaelic football, hurling, and soccer, while also enjoying running.
Rhiannon has over 10 years of experience as a Nanny and is now studying Psychology and Politics. Rhiannon enjoys reading, knitting, sailing, running, tramping and travelling.
We both have flexible options available with work and study to help care for any pets. We are both comfortable and confident with all sorts of animals; Owen growing up on a farm and Rhi with a menagerie of pets (incl. Guinea Pigs, rabbits, cats, chooks, dogs) means we have had a fair bit of experience with a variety of pets. Rhi enjoys getting stuck into gardening, so is happy to help out with weeding and watering where needed.

Rhi and Owen house sat for me again, , this time was a much longer sit.
They looked after my house and my aging cat exceptionally well, and I came home to a fresh, clean, tidy house with a very happy cat. It was a lovely to come home to fresh flowers, milk and bread from my favourite bakery!
I will definitely be contacting them for house sits in the future.
Rhiannon stayed in our house while we were overseas for 4 weeks.
We felt perfectly comfortable when we first met her to have her stay in our home. She kept us updated every few days of pictures with our cat and when we got home the house was spotless. We would definitely have her back and would recommend her without hesitation!
These guys are amazing, our dog was so happy and relaxed when we got home after 3 months away, Our home was well looked after, they had to deal with a leak in the roof which they sorted for us. They are both excellent communicators and very accommodating. Can't recommend Owen & Rhi highly enough.
Owen and Rhiannon cat and house sat for 44 days while I was overseas. The cat and house are both aged and required looking after. Owen and Rhiannon kept me posted with photos of the cat who was very settled and relaxed looking. Upon arriving home the house was spotless, the beds made, the lawns were mowed, the cat was lovely and Owen and Rhiannon had left fresh milk/bread etc.
I highly recommend this couple and would ask them to cat/house sit again. I wish them all the best in future house ... MORE
Owen & Rhi are very kind, positive, and responsible people. They took amazing care of our house (with a garden) and our dog when we were away.
Sensa is a 5-years Jack Russel (mix) and she’s quite energetic. Owen & Rhi took her for walks and gave her the attention she needed. They kept us informed by sending photo updates of Sensa (you could tell she was having a great time!).
Everything was great - no stress, no hassle, good communication. Also - they are good bakers 😃

Owen and Rhi are a lovely couple.Our pets were well cared for and our house was clean and very tidy.I can not thank them enough.We had texts and photos while away regards our animals which was reassuring.Highly recommended.
Rhianna and Owen were amazing. What a lovely couple and would have them back to housesit my two bunnies anytime. The house was left immaculate and even put on fresh sheets on the bed. I highly recommend them.
Owen and Rhiannon looked after our place and our dog Jimi for a week while we took a long overdue holiday. Honestly we couldn't be happier with them. When we returned the dog was happy and the house was tidier and cleaner than when we left it. Totally recommend these two and will use them again for sure.
Owen and Rhi looked after our house and hens for two and a half months, during one of Auckland's wettest winters for a long time. They cheerfully put up with the rain and a mud-filled garden and left our hens in fabulous condition, even our 13 year old Astrolaup! The house was spotless when we returned and they communicated well with us while we were away. We would very happily ask them to look after our house and animals again - though I hope next time they would be able to enjoy the garden ... MORE

Rhi and Owen are lovely people whom I warmed to straight away. They made themselves available at very short notice. My cat, Einstein needs daily medication and he was healthy and very chill when I got home He had obviously been well looked after. An added bonus was finding the laundry had been done!
I have asked Rhi and Owen if they will house sit for me again on a much longer sit and will be very happy if they accept. I highly recommend them.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
