Hello homeowners and pet lovers!
I am a local Teacher interested in any house-sitting opportunities in the Marlborough region with my animal loving 12 year old son, Niko.
I also have a 14 year old son, Tane, who attends private boarding school in Auckland. He joins Niko and I during the school holidays so we are happy to housesit in Auckland and other regions during that time.
We are experienced regular house sitters in Marlborough and have plenty of references and phone numbers of people you can contact. We have looked after cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds, goldfish and lots of plants. We want to reassure you that your beloved pet/s will be in safe and experienced hands. I also garden and mow lawns and anything else you require around the house just ask.
With our experience of looking after animals and also being homeowners, we will take the utmost care of your animals and leave your place exactly as you left it. Respecting other people's property and privacy comes very naturally for us,
Here's what you can expect from our pet/house sitting services:
🐶 Quality time and play sessions for dogs, including walks and exercise
🐱 Tender care and affection for cats, including feeding and litter box maintenance
🐾 Basic grooming, such as brushing and combing, if needed
🏡 House-sitting services, ensuring your home is safe and secure while you're away and clean and fresh upon your return. Pets or no pets.
💧 Regular water changes, feeding schedules, and medication administration, if required
📷 Photo updates and daily reports, so you can stay connected with your beloved pet, if needed

I have recently had Sarah and her son Niko to house sit my home at 23 Golf View Close, Marlborough Ridge while I was in Australia for five weeks. I couldn’t be happier on my return to find everything so spic and span and clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sarah as a house sitter.

Sarah and her son’s left the house wonderfully clean and tidy. George was clearly well looked after and I loved the photo updates daily. She even mowed the lawns and watered the garden for me on these hot summer days. Would highly recommend Sarah and her family.
We cannot thank Sarah and Niko enough for looking after both our house and Lacy dog. Communication was great, and we got regular updates. Not once did we have any concerns during the 3 months + that we were away.
The house was in great condition when we got home (maybe even cleaner than how we left it!!), and Lacy looked very happy and healthy. She obviously enjoyed her time with Sarah and Niko, as she still goes to visit the rooms where they stayed every morning.

Sarah stayed at my house with her son Niko. They are fantastic! Sarah took great care of my 2 dogs (one is a 12 week old puppy). The house was clean and tidy on my return home. She even sent me pics and videos of dogs while I was away. I highly recommend Sarah for house sitting and would happily use her again.
I would have Sarah and her son Nico back to housesit our cats Johan and Cherrio in a heartbeat.
They communicated with us all through our holiday. Plenty of photos we arrived home to exactly as we left it. Everything was tidy and in its place. A big thank you for housesitters. And Sarah and Nico look forward to having you sit our house and cats again.
