Hello there! We're Ash and Sam, we have been living and travelling in New Zealand since April 2024. We have been fortunate enough to enjoy short and long term sits during this time.

We will be based in Auckland til April and have availability for any-length sits during this time.


Ash is a stay-at-home mum who works causally as a speech therapist, while Sam is working at Auckland Council as a planner. Sam works from home half of the week and Ash works fully from home so being around to care for your furry friends will be our priority!

Having done numerous sits within Auckland and also for friends in Australia we're eager to offer our services further in NZ. Our love for pets is evident, having had two cats, and our own experiences with over 10 house sitters in Australia makes us fully appreciate the importance of a well-maintained home.

We understand the joy of returning to a clean, and often times even cleaner, house and yard. We're responsible, caring, and ready to make your home our temporary haven.

Ash, Sam and Olivia house minded for us in April/May 2024 in our house in Auckland and again for 10 days in Dec. They were amazing with all our pets and did a fantastic job with the two cats, 3 chickens, tens of fish and two aviaries with many, many birds. Our cats include a high maintenance elderly female and an extremely attentive and energetic young male, and they took it in their stride. Sam was a breeze to communicate with. Came for a pre visit to meet me & get to know the house which made me feel reassured. Cats warmed to him quickly. Came back to a tidy house. Very good experience.

We had Sam, Ash, and their child Olivia stay at our home to look after our dog, Teddy, and we couldn't be happier with them. They are a chill and friendly family who took great care of the house. I received lots of pictures of Teddy enjoying their company, going for walks, and relaxing in the house, which gave me peace of mind.
