38, Programme Developer (Education)
Kia ora!
After many years teaching and working as a head of department at a tertiary institute, I now I work as a programme developer. Working remotely is such a blessing and after renting out my Waikato house and renting my own place in Tāmaki/Auckland for awhile I've decided I would love to explore the country more.
Growing up in the Waikato in and around farms, we always had pet dogs and cats which I loved spending time with. Looking after animals is second nature to me.
The cat in the picture is Bandit. She is a 14 year old kuia who got rescued. She has a special diet and medication routine due to her arthritis and kidney issues.
At 38 I am fit, able, easy going tidy, organised and trustworthy. I love going to the gym, running, surfing and working out (both at the gym and at home).
I have experience house sitting in the past including looking after different doggos with particular meal plans and schedules.
Long or short, near or far I would love to help.
Please contact me if you want to find out anything specific.
Nāku noa,
Kind regards,
- Sam
