Hi, we are John and Sofia and we are students at Massey University in Palmerston North. We love animals and we have experience with all kind of animals. We have been housesitting in NZ since 2022 (since we started studying). In Australia, we worked with the app Mad Paws in which we pet sit mostly dogs, but sometimes cats, bunnies, and parrots! At the same time we volunteered at an Animal Shelter YAPS where we helped taking care of the dogs and also taking them out for walks. Unfortunately, at the moment we don't have any animals of our own because we are moving all the time and it's also hard to find a pet friendly rental, but we can't wait to fill our future home with dogs! We are a very responsible, clean and tidy couple. Respectful of other people's spaces and hard workers. We can also provide references from our house sitting jobs here in NZ. And we would love to pet sit at your house!

Thank you Sofia and John. They were awesome guests who left the house super spotless and kindly mowed the lawns. They showed us photos of walks they took the dog on and cuddles with the pets. Would have the back in a heart beat!

Sofi & John were amazing while we were away for 4 weeks. The communication and pics sent to us of our dog living his best life gave us peace of mind that our home and our dog were getting well looked after. We arrived home late at night to find our home clean and tidy which was so nice to walk into. I would highly recommend Sofi & John and would love to have them in our home again in the future.

Sofia and John are amazing pet sitters. Our dog and cat were very happy in their care and we got regular updates and photos sent. I would have them back house/pet sit again. Very happy 😊

Sofia was a wonderful communicator, and I had the pleasure of her partner, John, come up to Auckland from wellington to house sit my 12 year old dog Charlie for a week. John was outstanding and fully house trained 😉! I came home to a very happy Charlie, and a very clean and tidy home and garden, with lawns mowed and the bedding washed and on the line drying. Sofia and John were absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to use them again. Our two dogs were looked after with so much care and our home was also taken care of very well. We received great communication from Sofia and John whilst away and could see just how happy our dogs were. Thank you both so much, you allowed us to enjoy our trip and not fret about our girls and home.

It was lovely being able to leave our pets (and house) in the safe hands of Sofi and John. Our pets were very well cared for as was the house and property. We met prior to them staying and kept in communication while we were away catching up with how our pets were doing (loving their temporary carers) and us sharing a few of our adventures. A friendly couple whom I would highly recommend (and definitely use again if/when the need arises. Thanks heaps you two

Fabulous couple who cared for our sheep, alpacas, miniature horses, ducks, chooks and cat confidently and competently for five weeks while we were in Europe. Unfortunately, they had to endure a house sitters worst nightmare when our dearly loved cat was killed on the road. They took great care to ensure SamCat was laid to rest as we would have wished him to be. We had Sofia and John to look after our pets and farm animals for 1 week. They were very friendly, capable and efficient. The house was left spotlessly clean and tidy. John did a great job with the cattle, which is not an easy task. All the farm animals, dogs, and cats were all fussed over and fed very well. Sofia and John house/pet sat for us June to October 2022. They are excellent hosesitters, all we required and more. Our little dog was beautifully cared for and loved, our cattle and hens also. Our home was kept secure, left clean and all as we had left it. John assisted in our small on-line business in our abscence, maintaining our customer base and enabling sales to continue.
