I am a fellow kiwi spending some time in the North Island while I work on my online photography diploma and remote work. I would be more than happy to look after any pets and take great care of your home.
I have experience in both long and short-term house and pet sitting within New Zealand and Australia, along with paid dog walking. I have cared for dogs and cats and have grown up with many animals ranging from cats and dogs to rabbits, fish, guinea pigs and birds. My work experience has seen me as a retail store manager for multiple businesses big and small along with many hospitality roles abroad including after hour hotel management. I now work in freelance photography and business e-commerce.
I am tidy, reliable, and mature and can assure you I will take excellent care of your home and furry friends. I am happy to supply references from previous house sits, along with any other documents necessary (criminal record, etc) and have as many video/phone calls and visits, to help you get a grasp of me as a person so you can feel more than comfortable jetting off on your adventures!

Tayla is an awesome house and pet sitter! We had never had a sitter before so it was a big step to leave our fur babies with someone new. However, we had no worries at all. We spoke to Tayla then she came to meet the pets (they loved her instantly!) . Communication was super and as Tayla is an experienced sitter with glowing references we felt very happy to leave Magnus and Astrid in her care. 3 weeks later the pets were in great shape, very happy and perhaps a bit sad we had returned so soon ... Tayla recently looked after my home and my two little French Bulldogs while I was away, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience.
