Kia ora, hello and welcome to our profile.

We’re Claire and Rocky, life partners for over a decade. We met in London in 2013, and have shared a passion for travel ever since. We now call rural Whakatane home where we enjoy our little slice of paradise and run our event styling company. We love gardening, cooking, leisurely walks, kayaking, biking, and the occasional meal out.

Our house and pet-sitting adventure began in 2018. We spent over a year as full-time house sitters before settling down, and even now that we have a place of our own, it's still our favourite way to explore new places and meet furry friends along the way. We currently live in a tiny home and enjoy the extra space and companionship of pets whilst housesitting.

We’ll spoil your pets with affection and attention, stick to their routines, and meet their needs, whether it’s tucking them in at night, scratching their chin, or throwing their favourite ball around. We’ll keep your home clean and tidy, water your plants, and respect your home as if it were our own. We’ll keep you updated on your furry friends’ activities with regular photos and are always just a phone call away.

Rocky & Clare are outstanding house sitters � The care they gave our animals & home was truly amazing. Our home is a large property with big grounds and takes a little bit of looking after swimming pool, spa pool etc. When we got back from our holiday I was blown away how clean and tidy our home was (cleaner than I ever get it) and our animals were very happy. Cannot recommend Claire and Rocky highly enough. Great communication, turned up when they said they would and made us feel very at ease and confident leaving our home and doggos in their very capable hands. They also sent us an amazing Christmas Day photo of our doggos that we will treasure. House was left immaculate despite us saying not to worry about changing sheets etc. Highly recommend and would love if they could come back and housesit for us again.

I'll try not to make the review too negative as they seemed like lovely people but unfortunately this houseitting experience was the worst we've had - in fact it only lasted 40 mins. Imagine spending several days cleaning, tidying and packing to go on a much needed family trip and then receiving a "something came up" txt 40 mins after hitting the road. Thank you Claire and Rocky! Could not have asked for better house sitters to look after our fur babies and our home. They even took the dogs out to see the Christmas lights! When we returned home, the house was super clean and tidy, with sheets and towels etc washed and folded (what an added bonus). Highly recommend these amazing ladies for your house sit. We would definitely have them back.

Rocky and Claire did an awesome job looking after my dog Zoey and the house and garden. Zoey was in great hands and loved there company. I didn't ask nor expected the laws to be mowed but even that they did- great surprise. Claire and Rocky looked after my home and cat for 3 weeks and I couldn't have chosen a lovlier couple to housesit. Rocky went out of her way to take me to the airport and Claire sent regular updates via email. It was wonderful returning home to a spotlessly clean house. They are such a lovely, sincere and friendly couple whom I had the pleasure of meeting twice before I went away. They sent me numerous emails to let me know how things were going.
