We are a practical and resourceful couple with a positive "can do" Kiwi attitude. We are flexible when it comes to house sitting as we have a caravan that we can park up and look after your property and pets or sit in. We are animal lovers and have past experience in looking after properties where we cared for dogs, chooks, cattle, sheep & goats.
We get on with people from all "walks of life" are resilient and have lived and worked in a variety of places including Mount Maunganui, Great Barrier Island, Auckland, Whangamata and Rarotonga.
Shelley, retired, is an experienced cleaner having operated her own business for many years. She is also a keen gardener. Greg, retired, is a NZ qualified refrigeration engineer and electrical service technician and is a ''jack of all trades'' when it comes to property maintenance. We are non-smokers, an outdoors couple and enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, surfing, fishing and golf.
Shelley and Greg were great housesitters. The house and the two dogs were well looked after. We received regular updates and their overall communication was brilliant. They are both very capable and easy going. We would love to have them back.
We had the pleasure of Shelley & Greg housesitting for us for over 2 weeks before they registered with Kiwi house sitters. They were outstanding housesitters. Our dogs were very happy and settled, and the house and garden were immaculate on our return. Shelley and Greg were excellent communicators, respected our property and were 100% reliable. I cannot recommend them enough. They are mature, responsible, friendly and entirely trustworthy. We are so happy they have agreed to house sit again!
