We are sisters who travelled together in Europe in 2018 and 2019 for four to six months at a time. We have done some housesitting with cats and dogs and completed several Workaway assignments in France and Italy.

We both own homes and currently share a beautiful white cat named Lucca. While we both grew up in a household with a range of animals only Clare has been owned by cats and dogs since. The dogs have ranged from a Dachshund to Irish Setters and Cavalier King Charles, as well as various rescue and foster dogs (after Christchurch earthquake). Cats have been a range of moggies.

We are hoping to explore different parts of New Zealand and the UK while travelling to connect with family. In doing so we hope to experience different environments and lifestyles while meeting new people and animals.

We are active and fit and are currently jointly taming a new property in the Far North.

Clare has been excellent in looking after Bobbin, my two aloof cats and my home. I was comfortable leaving everything in her capable hands and could travel without worrying about how things were going here. Clare even weeded my garden, which was absolutely not expected, but which was wonderful to return to. Bobbin was comfortable with Clare and she was taken out for walks and cafe visits. Id definitely ask Clare to house sit again, and would recommend her to others as a caring, stable sitter.

As much as I loved my vacation, I always look forward to coming home. And when I arrived home, it was as if I never left! Clare took care on my home as if it was her own and she was proud to live there. It was so relaxing to feel the care that she put into my house, garden and my two budgies. I am going to try to plan my future holidays around her ability to house sit for me. I highly recommend her!

Ann and Clare were amazing Housesitters while we were overseas for 4 weeks. They had an active Jack Russell and an aging cat to care for (who don’t always play nicely together) but we didn’t worry at all while we were away as we got regular photos of them and kept up to date about how they were. We arrived home to two happy animals and a pot of home made soup on the stove, along with our bed made up, our home immaculate, a welcome home sign and a beautiful card. What else could one ... We just had to ask Ann and Clare to come housesit for us a second time as they were really great with our animals, and our animals grew quite fond of them. They were so spoiled and happy. The house was once again perfect and clean when we got back. I would highly recommend them.

Ann and Clare were really great. They looked after our place really well and the care they showed for our animals was really amazing, going the extra mile to take them for regular walks. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have a German Shepherd that has some anxiety issues and this is just not a problem with Clare. My dog loves her. Clare took great care with her by walking her, playing with her and keeping her company. I don't have to stress about my dog when Clare comes to stay. And took great care of my house as well. It was like nobody had even been here. I will absolutely be using her again.

Ann & Clare were awesome unexpected blessings. Their communication was spot on and the looking after of my much loved wild life was so appreciated. My home was happy and well loved upon my return.
