Kia ora/helo/hello,

My name is Lauren and I am a 23 year old female from South Wales in the United Kingdom. I am visiting New Zealand on a working holiday visa, and to allow me to save more money, meet new people (and their gorgeous pets), and visit as many places as possible, I would love to do some house/pet sitting!

I have a degree in English Literature and History from the University of Exeter, I have several years experience working in retail, and have worked in a student experience focused role at the university I graduated from. I love to travel and I am very creative, I love reading, drawing, scrapbooking, journaling, and crocheting. Also, I am a non-smoker.

I have been in New Zealand since September 2023 and stayed with family in Whanganui until the end of February, and since then I have been travelling and exploring this beautiful country. I am in New Zealand until the 10th December 2024.

I do not have a driver's license and rely on public transport or cycling to get around, so would prefer housesits that are in close proximity to public transport or are walkable from shops and other facilities. I am travelling around using Intercity bus services, so any sits close to the Intercity stops would be ideal.

While I grew up with no pets (my family have adopted two cats since I have been in New Zealand!), I love all animals and have experience looking after cats, dogs, and fish, and would love to look after any animals.
