Hi there! I'm Phoenix. 😊

I grew up in Christchurch, but for the past 35 years, I’ve been enjoying the beautiful outdoor lifestyle on Vancouver Island, Canada. As a Kindergarten teacher, I love welcoming new students and their families as they embark on their educational adventure!

My youngest child has flown the nest and made a lovely home with her New Zealand boyfriend in Christchurch. They are now expecting their first little one, and I’m so excited to travel to New Zealand to meet my grandbaby! While I’m there, I also plan on doing some research, coursework, writing, and spending plenty of time at the beach!

I have over 20 years of experience with house and pet sitting in Canada, and people often say, "I would trust her with my life." I will always keep your home clean and tidy, and will love spending quality time with your furry friends. Taking them for walks, chatting with them, and sticking to their routines and schedules is a priority. I also enjoy puttering around in the yard, which is my third favorite pastime, after working out (go Peloton!) and enjoying beach time.

I’m open to house sitting because caring for animals brings me so much joy, and having a bit of structure and responsibility would really enhance my time in Christchurch.
