Hello,

I'm a very experienced house-sitter and pet-lover with approx. 35-40 house sits completed in recent years. For some years I had my own housesitting service supporting pet and home owners in three NZ regions by vetting, police checking, and placing sitters to look after their much-loved pets.

I'm a freelance writer and family carer, just reaching retirement age and getting more flexibility. Pet-sitting is a wonderful way to see more of my own country and 'live like a local' while helping out pet-owners who want their animals to be safe and happy in their familiar home while they're away.

I keep your pets good company, happy and non-stressed in their usual routines; and extra-well cared for while you are away. I have excellent references from happy pet and house-owners.

I love cats, dogs and all animals, so your pets get lots of TLC and attention. Walking is my regular exercise, so dog-walking is fun for both me and your dog.

I'm practical and responsible. I like to read, write and take digital photographs, and stay fit with walking, swimming, hiking and waka ama paddling.
