Wellington Wanderers

51, Delivery Director

We are a family of four who live in our own home in Island Bay, Wellington.

Our animal-loving kids are 14 and 19, and are completely house-trained. My husband and I are non-smoking professionals, and are also house-trained. (As far as I am aware, the children are also non-smokers).

We have a retired greyhound called Sasha, who is moderately crazy and completely lovely. We also have a sweet cat called Roo. We fostered him as a kitten during lockdown, for the SPCA, but we fell in love and ended up adopting him. I was fortunate to grow up on a lifestyle block and have taken care of (and had as pets) the following animals: cats, chickens, dogs, a rabbit, goats, calves, steers, lambs/sheep, fish, a pony and a horse. As a family, we have fostered cats and kittens for the SPCA and Feral Nation for the last five years +. We all love animals and would take the very best care of your precious furry family members.

We keep our home clean and tidy and we would do the same with yours. The children are accustomed to travelling and to staying in homes other than our own, and they are careful and respectful of others' property.

I am unable to brag about our gardening prowess, as to do so would be disingenuous. However, we do know how to water a garden and my husband assures me he can mow a lawn (I'm taking his word for it).

So, please be in touch if you think that we sound like the right people to look after your home and/or furry friends.

ESTHER (Matamata North Island, Dec 2022 - 1 week 1 day)
Emma and family were very easy and capable house sitters for our farmhouse and cat. Communication was regular in the lead up to the house sit and the house was lovely and tidy when we arrived home. Much appreciated guys! I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

ANGELA (Maungakaramea North Island, Dec 2021 - 1 week)
It was wonderful to have Emma, Morgan and their two children stay for the long weekend at Ribby Farm. The farm animals and dogs (3 very large German Shepherds) were well looked after and happy. The house was absolutely immaculate when we arrived home. Thank you so much! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Emma and her whanau to look after your home and pets.

Emma & her daughter are lovely people & cared for our animals & house very well. They left the house clean & tidy & had good communication throughout their stay.

Emma was a delight to have stay in our home while we were away. We came home to a very tidy house and our animals were all loved and kept beautifully. I would highly recommend Emma and her family as a house sitter to anyone in the future.
