Hi everyone,

I'm Rachel from Scotland (Non smoker) and have residency here in New Zealand, currently reside in Nelson.

I have worked on a couple of stations in outback NSW, Australia where I was surrounded by a variety of animals.(horses/cattle/sheep/cats/dogs/chooks etc) I also grew up with plenty of pets (miniature schnauzer/ labrador/ staffy / ferrets/ guinea pigs/ rats/ hamster/ gerbils/ fish) & have had a rottweiler so an animal lover to say the least. I also have experience handling anxious dogs both around people and with other dogs.

Having animals around me is something I truly love, Especially years ago when I was travelling around myself & staying mostly in hostels & now rented accomodation - your own pet is something you just can't have. :(

Using Kiwi/Aussie House Sitters again is the perfect way to make both happen for me as well as help you guys out with someone you can rely on to care & look after your loved ones. I have some study/reading/drawing to catch up on so somewhere peaceful would be ideal.

I have lived with a number of people whilst travelling Australia/NZ and for the last 2.5 years have been living with my partner so I have landlord/agency references if needed. I'm fully capable of cleaning up after myself as-well as understand the importance of being respectful of other people's property.

I hold a current UK, Australian and NZ police checks.

Can't recommend Rachel & Aiden enough! They were extremely tidy & were great with the animals, would definitely love to have them back. Rachel sent photos through of them on walks with the dogs. Awesome house sitters.

Rachel jumped in at the last minute to help me out after I was let down by a sitter leaving the country unexpectedly. Her communication from start to finish was excellent, she kept me regularly updated with pictures, is very kind and caring and seemed to genuinely enjoy my very affectionate cat Pepsi. Rachel left my home spotlessly clean and tidy and I’d happily recommend her if you’re looking for a great pet sitter.

Rachel house-sat for us in January and took great care of both our house and our puppy. Rachel was very easy to deal with, and was happy to come around a few days early to see the house and meet us and our dog. When we returned, the house was clean and tidy, and our puppy had been well taken care of. I would definitely use Rachel again.
