I am a mature non smoking professional housesitter who has owned homes previously and am therefore aware of the related responsibilities; and has applied this expertise when maintaining many owners' beautiful homes in a housesitting capacity. I have been housesitting for the past few years, having managed numerous housesits chiefly on a long term basis. My previous and current clients are mainly professionals who travel overseas to various parts of the world often on a regular basis either for leisure or family. I have most recently been based in the Woburn, Eastbourne and Seatoun areas. On one occasion in Eastbourne, I managed a clients' property sale viewings for 3 months whilst they were out of town. This required liaison with the real estate agent and preparing/ staging the home for viewings. This should provide you with an assurance in terms of not only my personal level of professionalism but also the conscientious approach and high standards I adopt when looking after, and occupying, your home in your absence. Having owned elderly pets; I am familiar with the management of elderly pet ailments. I am very good with animals; very patient, gentle and extremely attentive. I have cared for most cat breeds; rescue cats who have had to adjust to a domestic environment; including a blind rescue cat. Additionally, I have cared for numerous dog breeds including; german shepherds, border collies, boxers, labradors, golden retrievers, shetland terriers and many other cross and smaller pedigree dog breeds. I have established that occupying your home in a sole capacity creates a mutual companionship environment with your pets. Effectively your pets receive the benefit of receiving a lot of attention and are very 'spoilt'. - hence the term 'your friends' best friend'.
I am a Wellingtonian and therefore able to meet owners prior to confirmation of the house sit.
