I am from the US and have visited all 50 states. Now I'm looking forward to exploring Aotearoa! I arrive in Auckland on 5 December 2024.
I love all animals and plants. All the beings in my care will be looked after as if they were my own. Rituals and routines are good for your pets & plants, so tell me what they are in your home, and I’ll do my best to maintain them.
I have looked after and/or lived with more than 18 dogs and another 16 cats in my lifetime so far, and have completed basic dog training classes and Good Canine Citizen certification. I also love looking after aquariums, farm animals, and gardens.
Calm and level-headed in emergencies and know basic first aid. Handy and know my way around solar and grey-water systems. Trained in permaculture principles.

Lisa went over and above while caring for our home, garden and dogs. She was tidy, communicated daily, water our plants, and was stellar with the dogs. We have two active Standard Poodles, who we kept entertained, given lots of attention and affection, played with in the backyard and walked daily.
Lisa gave daily meds to the dogs with no problem, and even did triage to our male who licked himself aggressively and created a sore.

Had a great experience with Lisa. It was my first time using house sitters, and I'll definitely be asking Lisa again. In fact, it's not shown here, but I extended my vacay for another week beyond June 18th, and I felt confident knowing my dogs were in great hands. Lisa was really caring of how the dogs were feeling, their moods, their behavior. One of my dogs had a medical issue, and I was impressed by how Lisa handled that.
