Ashburton

We have a beautiful 2 hectare property on the outskirts of Ashburton in Canterbury. We have extensive gardens, a small orchard, 15 sheep, 9 chickens and a 6yo springer spaniel called Shiloh.

During your stay you will just need to ensure our dog Shiloh is fed twice per day, check for any eggs, and check and feed the sheep once per day. The chickens and sheep have access to their own food and water.

There may also be some minimal watering required in the vegetable garden.

We have a large 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home which you will stay in while you are here.
Bedroom 1 - King bed and ensuite
Bedroom 2 - Super King bed
Bedroom 3 - king single (with pop up trundler bed if necessary)
Bedroom 4 - Cot
Office - Single bed

There are two lounges, one with log burner. There are also two heat pumps to ensure you stay warm on the colder nights.

Families are welcome. We also have a large trampoline and small playground for the kids.

Nearby to our home there are walks, mountain biking tracks, the Mt Hutt ski field and the Methven hot pools are up the road, and there are plenty of good eateries in town.

Your pets will be considered by arrangement, on the proviso that they have previously been exposed to sheep, chickens and other dogs without any incident.
