We need a house sitter

We are looking for House sitters to look after our four dogs (all trained and friendly), three cats (think they own the house), free range chickens. And weather depending we might ask you to water the veggie garden as well.

We live on a farm with magnificent views of the Mount Karioi. It is a very peaceful environment with great short walks around the house. Raglan is 25 minutes drive from the farm.

You must be confortable living remotely and enjoy the company of multiple animals. Animals can be left in their kennels for some time but we hope for housesitters who would rather spend time at home as well.

You will also feed about 40 free range chickens (a 5 minutes daily walk lovely to do with the dog, following a farm track!
) who are used to seeing us everyday so they are very social and like to follow you around. Lucky they don’t know their way up to the house !

We had a great time looking after the 4 lovely retired dogs, 3 cats that like to eat, and around 40 free range chickens. My kids really enjoyed it. If you are not fond of picking up chickens (as the fly into their food bin), then rather don't do this. But if you love nature, animals plus peace & quiet time, then I absolutely recommend this. Pauline is awesome and so kind, she even bought our kids Christmas presents and put up the Christmas tree so that we can have an extra special time ... MORE

This place is truely special. Pauline and Noel are so kind, generous and welcoming and made me feel right at home. I miss all the lovely animals as if they were my own. I really hope I have the opportunity to go back some day.

We absolutely loved our time at Pauline's! The animals are all really sweet (especially the four dogs who all love cuddles), the views are amazing and the house is really nice and we felt very at home. We enjoyed our walk each morning down to feed the chickens and have a search for the eggs. Pauline and Noel were both really kind and welcoming and explained how everything worked at the house. We would definitely recommend house sitting there!

We were so fortunate to look after Pauline and Noel’s wonderful furred and feathered family and spectacular property. We are so happy to meet Pauline and Noe, they were great hosts, the communication was good, the accomodation is perfect with a lot of space and very confortable, it couln´t be better to spend a week there with such amaizings views! I had the best time petsitting for Pauline and Noel! They have 3 gorgeous, friendly dogs, and 3 sweet, fluffy, cuddly cats! Their house is set in a incredible piece of land, with beautiful views over the hills, a really peaceful area to unwind and escape into nature, and amazing walks around the property. We absolutely loved our stay at Paulina's and Noel's house! Very warm and welcoming house with stunning views. The animals are so well behaved and easy to look after.
