Parklands

We are looking for someone to house sit for us while we are back in the UK for around 3 weeks this winter.
We have two lovely cats, Merry and Pippin (yes, named after the hobbits!), who are very friendly and love to cuddle up on the sofa.
Pippin can be a little timid to begin with, and has been known to be a bit more nervous around men, with this in mind we would prefer to find a single woman to house sit. Unfortunately neither cat are great around kids, so no children.
Merry will be your best friend from the get go.
The main care will be feeding them each day, and keeping them company in the evenings when they do enjoy curling up with us.
They are both around 5 years old.
There are an array of pot plants that would love a wee drink every couple of weeks too, but that's about it!

We have a fully set up spare room, with full access to the rest of the house - large living, dining. kitchen area, bathroom with bath and shower, and a very comfy lounge area with a cracking TV with all the apps/streaming you're used to!

We live a couple of minutes walk from Bottle Lake Forest, and the Travis Wetlands are about a 10 minute stroll away, with two supermarkets a 5 min drive away. We are also only around a 5 min drive to Waimari beach, and the rest of the coast is at your doorstep.
We are then less than a 20 min drive into the centre of Christchurch, or there is a handy bus stop about 10 mins walk away that takes you straight in.
Having your own car would definitely be handy, but if you cycle it's also very easy to get around by bike.

Please do not reach out if you have children with you or are a couple, as stated above, due to one of the cats being a bit more timid with men, and both not being great around children, we are looking for a woman house sitter.
