Hello!
We’re Jade and Daniel, a dependable and animal-loving couple with previous house-sitting experience.
Over the past few years, we’ve had the pleasure of caring for a variety of homes and pets, from cuddly cats to energetic dogs, chickens, axolotls, and even doves.
After a year of travel, we have recently returned to Auckland to spend time with our families, save for a home and finally adopt some pets of our own! In the meantime we are having so much fun moving around the city, taking care of all your wonderful animals and homes!

- We understand that each pet has its own personality and needs. Whether your dog thrives on long walks and playtime or your cat prefers quiet companionship, we’ll make sure they get the attention and care they’re used to.
- We’re both experienced in administering medication to animals (including external and oral pills or syringes). We believe in balancing discipline with plenty of affection, so your pets will feel safe and loved.
- We both love the outdoors and hiking. This means we’ll keep your dogs happy and well-exercised with plenty of walks and playtime.
- Both of our jobs allow us to work from home at different times, with Jade spending the half of her week at home and Dan spending most afternoons at home. This means we’re flexible and can easily adapt to different routines.
- Dan grew up on a small farm and is experienced in gardening and maintaining property, which means your home is in good hands too. He’s a construction surveyor by trade, and together we’re well-equipped to handle any small household tasks that might come up. Whether it’s watering plants, taking care of the garden, mowing lawns, or general upkeep, we’ll keep your home in great shape.
What You Can Expect From Us:
- Tailored care for your pets: feeding, walks, playtime, and any necessary medical attention (medications, special diets, etc.)
- Attentive home and garden care: keeping your home clean, secure, and well-maintained, including any gardening or minor repairs.
- Regular updates and photos of your pets to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
- We are happy to provide our own linen for the duration of our stay, knowing that you probably won't feel like doing extra washing when you return home.
- We know that holiday plans can change at the last minute, so between the two of us, we can be flexible for additional days on either side of the house sitting period upon request.
We’re here to make your time away stress-free, ensuring your home and pets are looked after with the same care we’d give our own. We are always happy to discuss any specific needs or routines your pets have.

Jade and Daniel have been absolutely amazing! We've met before so they got to see the house and meet the fur babies and we clicked immediately! They are both so kind and lovely and we felt so safe and secure for them to look after our babies seeing they both love animals a lot and were so lovely when we met them.
We've had the best communication before, when they stayed and even after!
They even cleaned the house again after they left which was amazing because I am sure it wasn't need but ... MORE
Was a pleasure to have Jade & Dan look after our 2 cats and home. From first contact communication was fantastic throughout, they were accomodating of our needs and pre-visit for instructions even though it was only 2 nights. They brought their own sheets which was a huge beneift when as an owner we were only away for such a short period of time. The house looked after, a vaccum on deprarture would have been good, but overall our kitty's were well cared for which was the priority.
