We are a versatile and competent couple full of life experiences and reliability. We had been managing sheep and beef farms for many years until settling into city life in Hamilton. So we have lots of animal handling skills. Darren ran and trained a large team of working dogs to dog trial level. We owned our own home in Hamilton for 17 years but decided to sell and open ourselves up to a freer lifestyle which involves lots of travel. We walk every day, so are personally fit and enjoy taking your pets for a walk. Claire also enjoys gardening so would be happy to do this when required.
Claire and Darren were exceptional Housesitter's, caring for our home, large lawns and cat very well.. They left our home beautifully clean and tidy. I'd highly recommend them and hope to use them again.
I arrived home to a clean and tidy house, with the wood baskets full. Most importantly there were 2 happy dogs. Would I have Claire and Darren again - yes.

Thanks for the awesome review Claire. This was our first time getting house sitters in, and Claire and Darren made this very easy. Perfect sitters, great communication, so felt relaxed on holiday, knowing that our "babies" were getting well looked after. The house was super tidy for our return. Have already asked if they are ever keen to come back for another sit in the future. Fingers crossed we can use their services again.
Claire and Darren stayed in our home for four weeks, they looked after our two dogs and cat. We arrived home to happy healthy animals and our home was just as we had left it. Thanks Claire and Darren - I 100% recommend them as house/pet sitters.
Claire and Darren looked after our pets and house for 2 weeks. We were greatful to have such caring people look after our 2 old cats and 1 bouncy Young dog. They left the house and property immaculate and could see our animals were very comfortable with them. We would be very keen to have the house sit again in the future. Highly recommended!

Claire and Darren looked after our house and pets while we went away for 5 weeks. While away we had regular updates and communications. We arrived back to a beautiful and clean home, the lawns nicely mowed and all of our pets so happy, we could tell our animals had been looked after so nicely. Can't thank these two enough, would love to have them back again! Thanks guys!
We cannot recommend Claire and Darren highly enough. They housesat for us in Te Awamutu for 3 months. They were well aware that our 16year old labrador Lucy may not see the 3 month period through. Sadly this was the case and cant fault their management of this difficult situation. Our greatest reassurance was that we knew Lucy would have received all the loving care she needed. Thank you to you both.
We have arrived back to a spotless house and well cared for lawns and gardens.

Claire & Darren were professional from the first contact. Nothing was too much trouble, they left our home sparkling clean and tidy, the animals where well cared for and happy when we got back. I would not hesitate to ask them to sit for us again and highly recommend them to any body.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
