CoupleI worked on a permaculture farm in Bali, Indonesia for three weeks. This included taking care of pigs (and piglets!), cows, chickens, and even guinea pigs. I've also helped out at my friends farm back home (goats and pigs).

We are an international couple spending the year traveling around NZ on working holiday visas. My name is Ren, I am from the US and work from home as a researcher and writer for an arts non profit based in Wellington. My partner Lee is from the UK and is a certified plumber working various construction / building jobs as we go. We’ve absolutely loved housesitting, as it’s been a wonderful way to explore the country AND spend time with furry friends, as we have both been missing our dogs at home very much!
I have a little over two years of on and off housesitting/petsitting experience and some previous farm work experience. We have been housesitting/petsitting around NZ this year and are loving it! Ren and Lee were amazing housesitters. The house was clean and tidy when we returned. Our dog was well cared for and they had taken him on some great walks and swims.
The communication was wonderful and I loved getting the little updates about how they were getting on with the dog.

There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
