Our names are Katie and Luke, we are a recently married couple and are both 25 years of age. We’ve been living and working in Japan for the last year and are now home in Christchurch, to start saving for our own house.

We love animals and both grew up with them around. We would love to have our own when we eventually get our own place, but figured in the meantime, that house sitting is a great way to save and has the added bonus of living with animals where we can get our pet fix!

We’ve had experience looking after other people pets through friends and family and know what it takes to do a good job. We are a fit active couple and love our exercise, whether it be going for a run or walking up the port hills, your furry friends will get their needs met!

Katie’s mother is a vet nurse so if anything out of the ordinary should happen we have an animal expert a phone call away.

Katie and Luke are awesome sitters, they took great care of our young, energetic dog Johnny! We had great comms before and throughout their stay, Luke sent lots of photos of Johnny on their walks. The house was perfectly clean when we got back. We'd happily have Katie and Luke to stay at our place again, and highly recommend them as house / pet sitters.
