Call me Alireza :)
I am a Persian guy landed in lovely Aotearoa 5 years ago to travel but ended up falling in love in the nature and beauty of this country and then produdly became a New Zealander :)
I have a deep appreciation of the natural world, the environment and its conservation. I share a passion for travelling and am on a constant quest for knowledge. This is what drove me to study engineering. I am reliable and caring, non-smoking, tidy and fully vaccinated against Covid-19. I would like to house sit. I love animals. Therefore, I see housesitting as a perfect way to meet new furry friends and at the same time combine it with my love of travel and discovering new places. I also work mostly from home and as long as I have access to internet I do not need to leave the house so will spend a good while with your pets :)

I'm a professional house/pet/farm sitter and I also sometimes do wwoofing. I house sit for townhouses, simple bach houses, farms, lifestyle blocks, all the way up to luxury houses. Nothing is too small nor too big for me to look after. I look after your pets and also farm animals and do some gardening/farm work as well, even solve your IT/Internet issues :)

Before joining this plaltform, I had looked after cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, horses, sheep, goats, hamsters and fish (salt and fresh water) in various countries as a workawayer. These assignments involved feeding, walking, and playing with the animals as well as garden maintenance and house duties.
Since I have found this website, I've been housesitting for a variety of places and regions. I house sat to look after 5 cute puppies in Tamahere, Waikato and then in Kumeu for a lovely labrador and to housesit 2 cats in a big farm in Brookby south of Auckland. Then I was called to sit in Whangapararoa, Parua Bay, Pukekohe, etc.
I'm so passionate about this job and I think all the animals make you fall for them. It's been really hard to leave a place I did a house sit for a while and I think dogs and cats will also miss us housesitters. That's the only sad part of housesitting. The rest are just fun and wonderful. The way we housesitters help the hosts and pets owners to travel away with peace in mind and feeling relax that someone is taking care of their pets and prperties, is so blessed.

Alireza looked after my two pups whilst I was overseas. He was absolutely fabulous with the dogs, feeding, walking and even giving them baths as needed. His communication was fantastic and the photos showed how happy the dogs were. The handover was perfect with my son as discussed and the house was left clean and tidy. The whole process was stress free and I would happily have Alireza back to sit again.
Due to the short time between us leaving and Alirwza arriving, we didn't meet in person and communicated mainly by texting and a couple of phone calls.
I was most impressed with Alireza and the ways he cared for my pets, the house and the garden. His mom even left a most delicious dessert in the fridge for us. The house was spotless and the few pot plants were watered. He sent pictures of my pets back home abd they were very much at home with him. I would certainly recommend Alirezam

Alireza was amazing. He sent us regular photos of happy animals and our house immaculate when we returned... In fact even cleaner. He also left us a freshly picked bouquet of flowers from the garden in the house. Definitely recommend.
Alizera was a great housesitter. He looked after our pets and house so well we wouldn’t hesitate to ask him to do it all again for us. He walked our puppy and played with our cats as well as keeping our house clean and tidy.
Communications were brilliant with pictures and messages every few days.
There is nothing better than going away knowing that everything is well cared for and safe and that is exactly how we felt. Thank you Alireza for doing a fab job.
Alireza did an excellent job of house-sitting for us. Despite being given very short notice, Alireza was very prompt in communicating with us, enquiring of our needs and those of the pets that needed minding. I highly recommend Alireza if you are looking for a house sitter. His communication was great, the house was cleaner than when we left and he was great with the animals.
Ali is the great house sitter, he has sitted for us several times now and its always a breeze.
Our fur babies and free range birds are well looked after and we always come home to a neat clean home.

Alireza looked after our cats for a period of 10 weeks and both cats looked happy enough on our return. the plants also looked resonably cared for. However house was vacuumed but only the very basic cleaning was carried out with no attention to details it was disappointing to come back to a filthy kitchen sink a filthy shower and various other dirty appliances. I would not recommend Alireza nor would I use him again.
Alireza was everything one would require in a pet and house sitter. Also the dogs loved him. I would highly recommend him to others.
Alireza was a great find, he had excellent communication and was well organised. He is personable and friendly and even dropped us off at the airport. He took good care of our pets and sent us weekly update with pictures! Thanks very much Alireza you made our first sitter experience a great one.
Alireza looked after our house and chickens while we on holiday for a month. His communication was great before and during the housesit, giving us weekly updates which was much appreciated! We came home to a lovely tidy house and he had even managed to do a great job on our lawns even though it had been so wet. The chickens were very happy, he had looked after them so well....they miss him.
