I am an active 54 year old lady with 4 grown up children. I love exploring new places, having adventures, taking time out from my normal busy routine and spending time in the company of animals. I have had a beautiful beagle dog for 12 years who has now gone to doggy heaven and also a number of delightful cats. One of things that delights my soul is the sound of a purring happy cat. I am a keen gardener and keep a very clean tidy house. To relax I enjoy reading, cooking, meeting friends for coffee, spending time with my adult children, swimming, snorkeling and long walks particularly around water. I love my job working Tuesday to Friday as a Dental Assistant in a busy private practice.
I have several character references I am happy to provide and a house sitting reference on this site.

This was the first time we used a house sitter and were unsure what to expect. We were thrilled to have Christine look after our two cats, house, house plants and garden. From first meeting Christine we felt confident we could trust her . Christine is a great communicator, practical, competent and down to earth. She managed our one confident cat and one timid cat with ease. We had a holiday with no worries about home . We totally recommend her and love to have her back in the future.

This was the first time we’d arranged for someone to house sit Rosa - our dog for couple of weeks. Rosa took to Christine immediately when she first came to visit.Lovely to arrive home to a calm and relaxed dog. It was nice to discover the welcome back card and flowers left by Christine. We’d readily have Christine look after Rosa again.

Christine did a wonderful job of looking after our house and 2 cats while we were away for 6 weeks. The house was very tidy when we returned and the cats were very happy. Christine emailed a few updates and photos about the cats while we were away, we appreciated knowing that all was fine and could see the cats were happy to have her looking after them. We would highly recommend Christine to housesit and look after pets. Thanks Christine :)

Christine looked after our cats, dogs & chickens & did a great job, feeding & medicating the cats & collecting eggs, etc, thumbs up from us. What I am not ok with is her assuming it is fine to use our ensuite while we were away, when there is a guest bathroom downstairs, our door was closed for a reason. Christine looked after my house and companion Birman cat for three weeks. This was the first time I'd left Kimi for this length of time. Christine kept in regular touch particularly in the first 1.5 weeks as Kimi settled in to having someone new in the house. Christine did a great job of looking after Kimi and when I got home she was looking relaxed and well. When I got home the house was clean and tidy and Christine had left a card for me. Christine looked after our 3 dogs and 21 sheep with great care. She walked our dgos twice per day and because of the drought also had to feed the sheep as well every day. She came to meet us before the sit and at once impressed us with her communication and care for our animals. We came home from holiday to find our dogs happy and healthy and the house was left very clean and tidy which was great as our 3 dogs are long haried dogs and shed their fur a bit. Once again Christine left our house clean and tidy and had thoughtfully added some touches to make it very welcome. Unfortunately the Wellington weather prevented Christine from being able to weed the garden. Christine did however keep the glass house going and the tomatoes tied up. We would recommend Christine as a reliable house sitter.

She was prompt with communications prior to the housesitter and gave us regular updates on our fur babies and home to provide reassurance during stormy weather. We returned to a clean and tidy home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
