We are a Polish-Belgian couple spending the European winter down under for the second year running.
Being without animals of our own for the first time in a decade (we lost our elderly cat & dog in 2022), we decided to travel to New Zealand last January and fell in love with its culture and nature. Having spent part of the summer in the pole circle (Greenland), it seemed only natural to venture south again to get our vitamin D levels up.
However, since all this traveling makes it hard to adopt our own pets for now, we would like to fill this whole in our lives by keeping other people’s furry ones company while working from (someone else’s) home.
We both love animal company, and we will make sure to adapt our routine to your pets' needs. Ourselves, we tend to adopt oldies and animals requiring additional care, so we can handle special needs with patience and understanding. We have experience petsitting for a hobby farm in the UK (multiple dogs, cats, goats, sheep, chickens etc). Also, we are avid walkers, so there is no upper limit on how much exercise your dog needs.
We will be arriving in Auckland 20th of November and are scheduled to fly out mid-March. We will be visiting both islands during those months, however, so whether you are in the Bay of Islands or Invercargill, we can work something out!
