Hello! We are Alexis Prado and Esmeralda Valdivia – a responsible, respectful couple from Peru exploring beautiful New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa.

We were raised with strong values of care, respect, and responsibility, which guide us in everything we do. We love animals deeply, and caring for pets has always been a central part of our lives. Together, we have extensive experience looking after a variety of pets, especially dogs.

Esmeralda has cared for over five dogs throughout her life and currently has two beloved dogs back home. One is a 10-year-old Schnauzer who has been her loyal companion for a decade, and the other is a rescued Schnauzer mix, whom we found in challenging circumstances. We gave him the love, care, and quality of life he deserves, and he is now thriving as a happy, healthy member of the family.

I (Alexis) have a 4-year-old Fox Terrier, whom I adopted during the pandemic. She became my closest companion during those challenging times, and I take pride in giving her the best care, love, and companionship she needs.

We understand the bond people have with their pets because we feel the same way about ours. Leaving them with trusted family members for this trip to New Zealand was not easy, but it has only deepened our desire to share our love and care with other people’s pets.
