My daughter often calls me the 'cat whisperer'. Over the years, I have done house sitting in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Queensland looking after cats, dogs, birds and farm animals.

The house was incredibly clean and tidy upon our return, and all the plants and veggies were healthy, even though it had been very warm. Unfortunately, our communication styles did not match - I like to be updated daily with a photo or general goings on, but Heather seems to be a more hands-off communicator with short updates every now and then.
I met Heather last year to stay at our house and look after my cat. We met when she came to my house (before the house sit) just so we could get to know each other a bit more and we got on well and had a good chat .

Heather was very meticulous about the house sit. She communicated very well and the house was left just as we left it. The animals were happy to see us, but I know they were not wanting for attention, as they had been given it from her. I would highly recommend Heather with no hesitation.
Heather took exceptional care of our house and our cat. She exceeded our expectations. She's a lovely person who we recommend highly and will be our first choice for future housesitting. We were away seven weeks and didn't worry about a thing thanks to her support.

Heather was an absolute lifesaver. Not only did she agree to catsit at very short notice, but then also went above and beyond to help out in between other commitments when my return home was delayed due to cancelled flights. Heather was fabulous! My cat is very timid and I was delighted to see that Heather built a rapport with her very quickly and Lola was even confident enough to sleep on the bed with her.
