🐾 About Us:

Hi! We’re Anya and Vlad, experienced animal carers from Tauranga. We’ve been hosting dogs in our cozy home for over a year, providing them with lots of care, fun walks, and playtime. We’ve gotten to know many different breeds and their unique personalities, and we absolutely love it!

We’re also experienced with cats, fish, and birds and enjoy their unique personalities and needs.

We started pet sitting during a period of Anya’s health challenges, and it turned into something we’re really passionate about. Now that Anya is back to health, we’re excited to mix things up a bit and explore more of New Zealand. What better way to do that than by combining our love for pets with our love for travel?

Vlad works full-time remotely, and Anya works part-time at a local language school in Tauranga.

🎄 Our Christmas Plans:

This year, we’re planning to spend Christmas in Christchurch and are looking for a house-sitting job there, preferably with a cat. Since we’d like to explore the area with our friends, it would be ideal to care for a pet that doesn’t require as much constant attention as a dog. If you have a cat that needs some company and care over the holiday season, we’d love to help!

• We’re not just great with pets—we’re also great at taking care of homes! We treat every house as if it were our own, keeping things clean, tidy, and secure. You can trust us to take care of your home and make sure everything is in perfect order when you return.
• Anya is very interested in dog behavior and training. While she doesn’t have a formal degree in it, she knows a lot about keeping dogs not only physically active but also mentally stimulated with games and activities.
• We enjoy exploring nearby parks and walking trails with dogs, giving them a chance to experience new environments and have fun adventures.

🗺️ Availability and Travel Plans:

We’re planning to travel around New Zealand for the next year, so our schedule might be a bit flexible. Apologies if we can’t accept your offer due to our travel plans or the locations we’re interested in. But we’d love to house-sit for you if it fits with our journey!

If you’re on the North Island, we might be able to arrange a meet-and-greet in person. If not, we’re always happy to hop on a Zoom call to get to know you and your furry friends!
