  • Mostly lifestyle blocks these days but used to assist on larger farms; no hard physical work nowadays but will move stock paddock to paddock plus break feed etc. Observation is a key ingredient, I will spend as long as necessary walking etc around hills or flats!

I live permanently in the Auckland region and find house and pet sitting a varied and interesting way of life. I originally decided to be in Auckland so that I can play competitive table tennis but house sitting and Auckland in general have become a big part of my life which I am pleased to say leaves me very contented.

Dereck was a pleasant and reliable career of our property whilst we were away. He communicated well, cared for our poultry leaving them content and left the house immaculate. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to everyone.

Dereck looked after our house & dogs for 4 weeks in April. He did a fabulous job and our dogs were very happy and healthy. Communication was excellent and he also mowed our lawns before we arrived home. I hope Dereck will be available for our next house sit.
